Arsenal's title dream was dealt a huge blow as they were beaten 3-1 by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Kevin De Bruyne gave City the lead in the 24th minute, but Bukayo Saka levelled from the penalty spot just before half-time.

Jack Grealish restored City's lead early in the second half, and Erling Haaland added a third in the 72nd minute to seal the win.

The result leaves Arsenal 11 points behind City in the Premier League table.

Arsenal started the game brightly and had a few good chances to take the lead.

However, it was City who took the lead in the 24th minute when De Bruyne curled a superb shot into the top corner.

Arsenal equalised just before half-time when Saka was brought down in the penalty area by Ederson.

Saka stepped up to take the penalty and he made no mistake, sending Ederson the wrong way.

City came out strong in the second half and they retook the lead in the 53rd minute when Grealish tapped in from close range after a cross from De Bruyne.

Arsenal tried to get back into the game, but they were unable to find a way past City's defence.

Haaland added a third for City in the 72nd minute when he headed in a cross from Riyad Mahrez.

The result leaves Arsenal 11 points behind City in the Premier League table.
